Chase Hertel J.D., Head of Compliance & Legal Innovation
Chase Hertel is Rasa's Head of Legal Innovation & Compliance, where he works at the intersection of law, technology, and forward-thinking strategy. Passionate about scaling access to justice, Chase is dedicated to empowering lawyers and clients to work together through technology. Chase is a graduate of Missouri State University and Michigan State University College of Law. He is a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers, American Immigration Lawyers Association, American Bar Association, the Maryland Bar, and the Legal Services Corporation's Emerging Leaders Council. When he's not working on legal innovation projects, he can probably be found alongside his wife playing with their two Australian Cattle Dogs somewhere in Northwest Michigan.
Cheyenne Moseley, Legal Operations Director
Cheyenne joined LegalZoom during its startup days and spent more than 20 years growing with the company across multiple operations roles, most notably as Fulfillment Director and Government Affairs Manager. She knows firsthand the energy, hustle, and creativity it takes to build something from the ground up. When Rasa Legal came along, it was an easy yes. She is passionate about helping people clear their records and reclaim their futures because it is the kind of mission that changes lives and feels more meaningful than any title. Outside of work, Cheyenne enjoys reading, going to the gym, cheering loudly for college football and basketball, watching cartoons, Twilight Zone, and Law & Order reruns, and eating. Always eating.
Hollee Petersen, J.D., Legal Director
Hollee is a licensed Utah attorney and one of Utah’s leading experts on the expungement process. Coming to Rasa from Utah Legal Services, Hollee has focused primarily on expungement for several years and has helped hundreds of Utahns successfully clear their criminal records. Throughout her career, Hollee has shown an unwavering commitment to increasing opportunity for all within our legal system, regardless of income. She has been the recipient of several awards including the 2019 University of Utah College of Law’s Distinguished Public Service Award. In her spare time, Hollee loves to snowboard and spend time with her family.
Summer Crockett J.D., Arizona Staff Attorney
Summer Crockett grew up in Utah, but has been living in Arizona for the past several years. She attended Brigham Young University's law school and graduated in 2021. She has been working in public service positions since that time and believes strongly in making a positive impact within the community.
Sharon Dietrich J.D., Pennsylvania Staff Attorney
Ms. Dietrich has been an attorney with the Employment Unit of Community Legal Services, Philadelphia, since 1987. She became CLS’ Managing Attorney for Public Benefits and Employment in 1997, and its Litigation Director in 2014. A focus of Ms. Dietrich’s work has been issues involving the employment of people with criminal records. Ms. Dietrich was one of the architects of Pennsylvania’s innovative Clean Slate law (Act56 of 2018), which seals criminal records by automation. Almost 55 million cases for 1.7 million people have been sealed in Pennsylvania to date. She also was a leader in the campaign in Pennsylvania to expand Clean Slate to drug felonies. In addition to facilitating the legislation and implementation of Pennsylvania’s Clean Slate law, she speaks widely about automated sealing and provides technical assistance in other states looking to adopt and implement Clean Slate laws. Ms. Dietrich also has represented thousands of people who have been denied employment because of their criminal records. She founded CLS’s work in the National Record Clearing Project, to provide technical assistance nationwide for provision of expungement and sealing representation. She has litigated national class actions against background screeners and constitutional challenges of overbroad laws restricting work opportunities. Ms. Dietrich received numerous awards for her work on Clean Slate, including from the National Legal Aid and Defender Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network. She also has received awards from the Pennsylvania Prison Society (2002), the Philadelphia Bar Association (2005), the American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania (2011), and the University of Pennsylvania Law School (2016).
Laia Juni, Paralegal
Meet Laia, a seasoned criminal law paralegal who is passionate about helping individuals clear their criminal records so they can move forward with a fresh start. Beyond her legal work, Laia indulges in her creative side by running a charming vintage shop, Juni Jems. Laia infuses both her professional and personal endeavors with a sense of purpose, warmth, and style.
Brina Baldovinos, Legal Support Specialist
Brina is a recent graduate from Utah State University (USU), with a dual major in Criminal Justice and Spanish. During her bachelor’s program, Brina conducted research at the USU Fall Symposium and the State Capitol. Along with her degrees, she earned her Law and Society Area Studies Certificate and served as a fellow in the Utah Governor’s Office, where she helped with campaigns, fundraising, and coordinating volunteer events. As a first-generation graduate, Brina has also volunteered her time tutoring ESL (English as a Second Language) students and fellow first-generation students. In her free time, she enjoys the outdoors and staying active. If she is not hiking in the summer, she is out snowboarding during the winter. Brina also loves hanging out with her dog, Milo.
Vanessa Miczo, Legal Support Specialist
Vanessa was born and raised in Davis County, Utah and is a graduate of Weber State University. She majored in Criminal Justice and minored in Communications, and has used her education and experience towards her passion of social justice. Vanessa’s roles have been centered around helping people of all ages; she has volunteered in Youth Court, worked in multiple treatment centers and spent years working as a Juvenile Probation Officer. In her free time Vanessa is passionate about hiking and staying active, and wants to help represent a love of the outdoors that transcends societal expectations and race.
Georgia Gehrke, Account Support Specialist
Georgia is a graduate of the University of Utah, she majored in Criminology and Sociology, with an academic focus on reform and rehabilitation. She is passionate about criminal justice and advocacy in all forms. She is a detail-oriented, team-player, who is always ready to learn, adapt, and grow. In her free time, she loves trying new coffee shops, going thrifting, and hanging out with her dogs — Hank, Waylon, and Riley.
Christian Whisenant, Research Specialist
Christian graduated from BYU in 2022 with a degree in Philosophy. Since then, he has worked in a variety of roles, including at a middle and high school, as a delivery driver, and with Salt Lake County. He is passionate about working with Rasa because he sees it as an interesting and nimble approach to solving a problem that is both large and difficult. Outside of work, Christian is a big fan of movies.
Harry Grimes, Research Specialist
Harry grew up in Utah, where his love for the outdoors shaped his adventurous and hands-on approach to life. With five years as a licensed stockbroker, Harry thrived in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment, developing strong customer service and decision-making skills. His passion for social justice was sparked during his time living in Belarus, where he provided vital support to Ukrainian refugees displaced by the War in Donbas. Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance at Western Governors University, Harry is dedicated to safeguarding digital landscapes and delivering expert IT support. When he’s not immersed in his studies, Harry enjoys building custom guitars, restoring 90s cars, and creating Lego masterpieces with his two children.
